About Us
Lake Gardens Falguni Sangha, an eminent Socio — Cultural sports organisation of South Kolkata, India was formed by a group of 6 young guns towards the end of 1989. Our club is located at Bangur Park which is regarded as “Heart of Lake Gardens”. Sri Pankaj Halder and Sri Arup Kumar Dutta was its founder President and Secretary respectively. The other founder members were Swarup Dutta, Siddhartha Ray, Rajat Roychowdhury and Rajat Dutta. The colour of our flag is white and sky blue which signifies the peace and prosperity. The emblem of the club is a bird with five leaves in it’s beak which represents dedication, honesty, sincerity, hardwork and enthusiasm. Earlier it was known as Falguni Sangha and after its registration under Societies Act, it came to be known as Lake Gardens Falguni Sangha.

Ever since 1989, the club has grown into a nation wide organisation and has more than 120 members at present with its prime motto “UNITY IS STRENGTH” With the club’s usual activities like Annual Blood Donation Camp, Annual Tree Plantation Project, Distribution of Clothes for the needy people, FREE MEDICAL CAMP etc.
