About Our Values...
Lake Gardens Falguni Sangha, an eminent Socio — Cultural sports organization of South Kolkata, India was formed by a group of 6 young guns towards the end of 1989. Our club is located at Bangur Park which is regarded as “Heart of Lake Gardens”. Sri Pankaj Halder and Sri Arup Kumar Dutta was its founder President and Secretary respectively. The other founder members were Swarup Dutta, Siddhartha Ray, Rajat Roychowdhury and Rajat Dutta. The colour of our flag is white and sky blue which signifies the peace and prosperity. The emblem of the club is a bird with five leaves in it’s beak which represents dedication, honesty, sincerity, hardwork and enthusiasm. Earlier it was known as Falguni Sangha and after its registration under Societies Act, it came to be known as Lake Gardens Falguni Sangha.

RESULTS OF ALL BENGAL SIT & DRAW COMPETITION
ANnual Blood Donation Camp
Annual blood donation camp is organized by our club on a Sunday after Kali Puja in the month of November.
DOL UTSAB & HOLI KA DAHAN
Dol utsab is a ritual among the Bengali community while Holi Ka Dahan a festival of the non-Bengalis, especially the Marwaris.
BAR PUJA & POILA BAISHAK
Poila Baishak, being the first day of the Bengali calendar is celebrated in Lake Gardens Bangur Park by organizing a bar pooja at dawn.
FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
A knock out football tournament is being organized by our club, one-week later paila baishak in the month of MAY at Bangur Pak. All members participate in this tournament.
Distribution to approximately 300 Needy persons in 2 Days during Saraswati Puja Every year.
Distribution of Pitchikiri, Abir, Medicated Colour, Caps, etc., the day before HOLI & DOL to 100 children.
Distribution to approximately 150 Needy people in 1Day.
At the time of COVID-19 and natural calamities like Amphan and Yash, our club lent its hands for the common dwellers and many affected people of the rural areas of Sunderban. We distributed essential commodities on every alternate day spanning over a period of 2 years.
